Inuit artist Peter Irniq has just returned from Scotland and is preparing for his September visit to Ames.
While in Scotland, Irniq built an Inuksuk for Scotland National Museum, as part of their Living Lands Exhibit. It will be a permanent exhibit along with Aino of Japan, Dene of the Northwest Territories, and Aborigines of Australia.

Garden Art Fair Set For July 10
Reiman Gardens in Ames will host it's annual Garden Art Fair on July 10th this year and Ames Public Art Commission members will once again have a booth in order to chat with attendees about our latest projects.
Reiman Gardens is also looking for volunteers to assist the event this year.
Dozens of artists from throughout the Midwest display and sell their work at the fair each year...here are some samples.
